The Last Adventure... for now!!

The herpetology field trip to Gus Engling Wildlife Management Area was a great trip!! We had a great time and saw lots of herps, 29 and a half species to be exact! The area was really beautiful there... trees. Water. LOL! But seriously, it was pretty especially the creek that Steve and Darin and I rowed down to set turtle traps! The creek had lots of blockages so it made for an adventurous trip, trying to go around, over, through, under debris in the water.

Some of the herps we found were tiny and interesting...

And others were not so tiny and MUCH MORE interesting!!

and then some of us just ate the whole time...

All in all it was a great last trip and I'm so glad that everyone who went had fun and saw so many critters! And I especially liked the one that came home...

Thanks for a fantastic last adventure, everyone! I'll miss you all a lot!
