And one-up her...

Katy, you have an unusually strong psychic talent in the area of Remote Viewing

This means you have an uncanny ability to travel great distances with your mind to get true glimpses of what is located in a faraway place. This skill is extremely valuable and has been used by institutions such as the government to help in covert operations or for finding criminals. Katy, our in-depth analysis also shows you have other hidden psychic strengths including precognition (the ability to anticipate things that will happen in the future), telepathy (the ability to sense other people's true thoughts) and clairvoyance (the ability to see the unknown).

"Nothing new to report, sir..."

Ok, just finished my first exam of the semester - genetics. Whew! It really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! Not too bad at all. I did almost get run over by the stupid WT bus again this morning! Those guys don't EVEN look at crosswalks! Especially the one in front of the JBK... that's the second time I would have gotten hit if I wasn't paying attention. Maybe I'm wrong but aren't vehicles supposed to YIELD to pedestrians at a crosswalk?!?!?! Jeez! Not much else to report... I take the substitiute training class on Thursday and they should put me on the call list next Monday. And I'm keeping my little lady, Twister. That worked out well for me! Well, ta, ta for now, ladies and germs... I'll talk to ya again sometime [though probably not soon!! :)~ ].

Salvate!

Hi all!
Just thought I would try to update this so all those people that I'm not keeping in touch with can have some inkling that I'm still alive!!
Ok, school started on the 29th of August so we're through a whole week now. I'm enjoying all of my classes, though they are going to be a lot of work (sorry Blake!). So I'm taking genetics, general ecology, conservation biology, and Latin. Great classes! Hmm, oh! Got moved into my dorm room. And yes, I did get the private room in the dorm hall I wanted near the science building! Yipee! It's working out pretty well so far, a nice quiet place to study and it's just about the right size for me. Though trying to cook/eat in the dorm is gonna take some getting used to... Fortunately for me, I know someone really special who is willing (who knows why!) to cook for me and bring me food and I have a great friend in town who lets me eat at her house so I don't starve!! I'm the luckiest person I know!! Well, I'm glad to be back at it again; it's nice to see all my school buddies that I missed over the summer, the recycling project for(ced) at WT is coming closer to fruition all the time, I love my field of study, and we start trapping this weekend!! Hooray! :) To quote Descartes, "Cogito, ergo sum." Valete!!

Latin translations: Salvate! Means be well, as a greeting. Cogito, ergo sum. Means I think therefore I am. Valete!! Means be strong or be well, used as a farewell.
