A New Baby

Ha! Gotcha, didn't I?! Ok, ok, so it wasn't THAT funny...
Thought I would let everyone know about some new excitement here. We have become a foster home for Jack Russell Terriers! We have our first foster that was rescued from a shelter in Galveston a few days before he was scheduled to be put down.


Such a shame as he is a sweet dog, and adorable! We named him Rounder.



He is about two years old and very playful but perfectly content to cuddle up and watch TV also. If you know anyone who might be interested in adopting a Jack Russell, like Rounder, you can direct them to the Russell Rescue site where they can select "Adoptions" and then there is a list with pictures by state as well as the applications.



And my little Sandy has done a great job getting along with Rounder and keeping him in his place!

I also have to say a big thank you to Birdman for consenting to this undertaking and doing such a wonderful job with the dogs and helping so much! I can't tell you how much that means to me! I love you, baby! And Oban has been very tolerant and patient (well, as much as one could expect!).
