Another Rescue in Progress...

Hello all...
I'm getting ready to help feed a Harris hawk for the first time and then it's off to Lubbock to take an injured barn owl to the raptor rehab center! Isn't it a tiny little thing??

A New Year!

Well, boys and girls... It is now 2006! Yipee! I am sooo glad that last semester is finally over. Made it; by the skin of my teeth! But on my way to my last semester and graduation. My brother has been accepted into a PA (physicians' assistant) school and is moving to Albuquerque, NM. That will be great to have him and his better half a little closer. I know he's looking forward to his new schoolin'... :)

I finally made it to Big Spring. For Christmas, no less! It was a great trip and I enjoyed it very much! I was able to meet all of The Birdman's family and visit with most of them. Great people!

Getting ready for the next go round of school. Last go round, I hope. I am headed to Abilene for the Texas Hawking Association meet next weekend, really looking forward to that! Then it's off to school and hopefully a couple new horses to work on as well! Maybe I'll have some new and exciting pics to add then... if I ever update this blog again (never know, 'cause I've been so good at it ya know...!).
