Return to school...

Spring break is over and gone. Though I enjoyed sleeping in and spending treasured time with my Birdman, this was such a long break! The trip to Houston was miserable! Ugh, bridal shower, a bitchy selfish bride, a 12 hour straight-through drive down and then back (both in the middle of the night), a bunch of girly girls (blah!), older stuffy rich women... need I go on?? The saving grace was the bride's mother, who is the most tolerant person I know at this point in time! She was wonderful and as always took good care of us, made us feel at home, and quelled some of the discomfort and disgruntled feelings. I met some interesting and terrific people while there; received an infusion of estrogen, a manicure, nail and toenail polish, a new purse, new jewelry, several new pairs of shoes... and now I am %^$%!@# sick of 'girls'! I was never so glad to get home! The rest of the week was nice, I enjoyed it very much! Though, I got nothing done... :) Ah, well. Catching up now. Birdman was wonderful, totally let me enjoy my time off, what a sweetie. I really even enjoyed hunting in the wind, rain, and cold on Sunday in Spearman... no, really, I really did enjoy it! Seriously! And then he cooked chicken fettuccine alfredo for me - wonderful, delicious!
